Prime Minister Edi Rama reacted after Kosovo's decision to remove the Serbian dinar from circulation, an action strongly opposed by internationals.
In a message posted on the social network "X", Rama says that the government of Kosovo should work closely with its allies, but in the meantime it has its undeniable right to implement its constitution.
"After Banjska", says Rama, "it is essential to maintain focus and a sense of balance".
Rama's message:
While we all agree that the Kosovo government needs to engage, coordinate and work more closely with its key allies, let's also not forget Kosovo's inalienable right to implement its own constitution. After Banjska, it is essential to maintain focus and a sense of balance.
While we all agree that Kosovo's government should engage, coordinate, and work more closely with its key allies, let's also not lose sight of Kosovo's undeniable right to enforce its constitution. After Banjska, it's crucial to maintain focus and a sense of balance.
