The majority today rejected the Democrats' proposal to dismiss Niko Pelesh from the position of Speaker of Parliament.
With 79 votes against, the Socialists kept Pelesh at the helm of the Assembly. While the majority of opposition MPs did not participate in the vote.
In total, there were only 10 votes in favor of Pelesh's dismissal, while most Democrats were protesting the procedure and the way in which Pelesh's dismissal was put to a secret vote.
But what stands out from the electronic scoreboard is that 3 votes came from the socialist majority.

Only 6 Democratic MPs and the MP from the Joint Movement, Redi Muçi , voted on the electronic table .
Meanwhile, 3 other votes have likely joined the dismissal of the Speaker of Parliament from the majority camp. It is not the first time that the votes of the Socialists or allies when the secret ballot is held have been against the political decision.
According to the electronic table, Bujar Leskaj, Tritan Shehu, Luan Baçi, Ina Zhupa, Elda Hoti, Jorida Tabaku voted from the opposition. While the seventh vote is for Redi Muçi .

What is striking is the fact that among the ministers of Rama's government, Mirela Kumbaro, Piro Vengu, Albana Koçiu, Belinda Balluku, Petrit Malaj, Delina Ibrahimaj, Evin Demo and Blendi Gonxhe voted .
