At today's media conference,  Sali Berisha  was asked about Ervin Salianj's speech that will start this afternoon in the city of Durrës. 

The leader of the DP described the meeting as private, and as having no connection or influence within the party.

"No activity outside the forums of the DP can have the slightest impact on the DP. Any activity outside the forums is strict, evidence-based and has no connection to the DP. The DP is a party with a statute, institutions and forums, and will have a debate, which will be open to every member and leader. Anyone else who organizes meetings for private, personal purposes is doing so entirely in their own interest and has no connection to the party," said Berisha.

Then, when asked about his possible expulsion from the party, he said: These are purely private activities and have no connection to the DP. I say it again, are they in the function of this or that interest, it remains to be seen, but the DP has its forums, from the presidency, the national council to the section, all of them have started to gather to discuss and analyze .
