The Committee on Economy, Employment and Finance produced strong debates among MPs.

Agron Shehaj asked for his floor and Speaker Milva Ekonomi returned his call, saying that priority is given to permanent members, followed by substitute members.

Excerpts from the debate:

Shehaj:  I am a member of this Commission.

Economy : You are a substitute member.

Shehaj : What does this mean? 

Economy : Braçe, who is a permanent member, has the floor, then you, who are a substitute member.

After his speech, Shehaj clashed again with the Economy Chairwoman, where Socialist MP Erion Braçe also intervened, raising his voice.

Economy: You are also excluding yourself from this Commission, you are addressing us with you. That is why I say that you are not a member like all the others, you are a substitute. You did not participate in the previous sessions. You have the floor after we clarify that we are working on this matter.

Shehaj:  You interrupt me. You think we're in school or kindergarten and you say: 'Whoever has come the most will talk the most.' Don't make this commission more ridiculous than it is.

Braçe : You can't come here and insult us. You've done it once, twice...

Shehaj:  Calm down. I'm talking to the mayor.

Braçe : Enough, I tell you! Onion, I tell you!

Shehaj : Calm down.

Braçe:  Is there any way you can turn off that microphone?
