VoxNews has obtained the document that reveals that Ilir Meta is the state's top politician, who is mentioned in the file of the Authority for Information on State Security Files. 

The document states that the latest denunciation received in the institution on the purity of the figure of one of the highest personalities of the state, such as the former president of the Republic, Ilir Meta, equipped with a certificate of purity of the figure from the Mezini and Bezhani Commission , confirmed by the decision of the authority no. 17, dated 28.04. 2017, it turns out that it actually appears in the documents created by the structures of the former State Security.


Following our previous requests and proposals , but especially being encouraged by the most recent denunciation received in the institution on the purity of the figure of one of the highest personalities of the state, such as the former president of the Republic, Ilir Metaj, equipped with a certificate of image purity from the Mezini and Bezhani Commission, conformed by us to the decision of the authority no. 17, dated 28.04. 2017, it turns out that it actually appears in the documents created by the former state insurance structures.

If the institution was in the conditions of reverifying the purity of the figure of the citizen Ilir Meta, which is not allowed by article 29, point 4, of the functional law, the results of the research would change ,' says the document of the Information Authority on Former State Insurance Documents.

It is also emphasized that in order for such situations to not be repeated, they require the approval of the proposal for some changes in the Electoral Code of Albania.

We convey to you the information regarding the most flagrant cases found by the institution, where some important figures, such as AD, Th.S, SH, Xh.Sh, D.Ç and IM, who had a certificate of image purity, appear in the documents created by the former state insurance, cases which should be taken into account in your assessment regarding the approval by the Assembly of the proposals for legal changes," says the document that the Files authority sent to the Assembly.
