The head of the DP parliamentary group, Enkelejd Alibeaj, reacted after the meeting held today with the US ambassador in Tirana, Yuri Kim.

In a post on social networks, Alibeaj informs that the focus of the talks was the start of the new parliamentary season and the new challenges during this period. He further adds that some of the main issues were the improvement of the legislation in force, administrative-territorial reform and the progress of the DP Parliamentary Group.

In his post, Alibeaj does not mention at all whether or not he discussed Russian financing, which has been the most discussed topic in recent days.

Today I held a fruitful working meeting with the US Ambassador in Tirana, Mrs. Yuri Kim.

The beginning of the new parliamentary season and the new challenges during this period were at the center of the conversation. Some of the main issues were the improvement of the legislation in force, administrative-territorial reform and the performance of the DP Parliamentary Group.

I thanked Mrs. Kim for the support that the US has given to Albania in the face of Iran's cyber attack.
I assured him that DP is grateful to the USA that throughout the entire new and old history of our country, it has had the continuous support of America!
