During the press conference, the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, was asked if Edlira Çepani , the wife of the late, Gerti Bogdani, is running for the Municipality of Tirana.

The Democratic leader evaded the question by saying that he has tasked a group of three people who will negotiate with other parties for a joint opposition candidate.

Flamur Noka, Belind Këlliçi and Ilir Alimehmeti have been assigned this task .

" I have assigned a group of three people who will negotiate with other parties for the names. Noka, Këlliçi and Alimehmeti, who will negotiate with other parties. I don't feel like sending someone to negotiate and then naming names. After they agree, it's the turn of the candidates. I don't intend to pronounce myself on anyone because it's a process ," Berisha replied.
