Edi Rama says that MEPs separated the "scoop" from the "sugar": Either all of Europe has gone crazy and corrupt, or there is something wrong with those who started the protest

Prime Minister Edi Rama has published on his account two amendments that were discussed today in the European Parliament; one that was rejected and another that received the green light from MEPs.

The first was presented by Italian MEP Ilaria Salis and several members of The Left political group, which aimed to include in the resolution on Albania a direct reference to the tourist project on the island of Sazan and the Vjosa-Narta protected area.

Meanwhile, the second amendment that has received the green light calls on the Albanian authorities to immediately impose a moratorium on all new permit procedures, construction works and development interventions within protected areas until the incompatible provisions of the amended Law on Protected Areas are repealed.

Prime Minister Edi Rama has published the two Amendments on his account and says that "even the EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT separated the "stalk" of the digital storm of disinformation from the "sugar" of the Vjosa - Narta protected area, which has no connection with the development that the MEPs, ousted by an overwhelming majority, blindly introduced as an amendment to the Resolution on Albania."

"Now either all of Europe, which through its Parliament highly values ??Albania and encourages our early membership in the EU, has gone crazy and corrupt, or there is something wrong with those who started the protest of recent weeks in defense of flamenco and are portraying it as a struggle for power in the name of flamenco!

In any case, the flamingos will be protected, Vjosa-Narta will be protected, Zvërnec will be developed based on an Environmental Impact Assessment according to European Union standards, and we will continue to elevate Albania to the top of the United Europe's home," writes Prime Minister Edi Rama.
