Prime Minister Edi Rama continued today with "SY m'SY", where, just like yesterday, he responded to commentators on social networks.

In the video from the SP headquarters, Rama states that unlike what the commentator claims, Albania does not produce the energy necessary to meet 100% of its domestic needs, calling the whole thing a media legend.

"Good morning from the Socialist Party. Albania produces 75 percent of its needs in a year with good water and 65 percent in a dry year. But we will only produce all the energy within 2030, when we will have gained energy sovereignty with the realization of the programmed investments in solar and wind energy, and the two innovative models of water pumping in the Drini and Devoll cascades, where we are working with our Norwegian partners.

The 10.5 percent reduction in energy prices is historic, because it is the first in 35 years and the only one made in this part of the world after the crisis in the war in Ukraine. It is the fruit of a historic achievement of the radical transformation of the sector in the last decade.

It's a 10.5 percent reduction and it's the lowest energy price in history, so I'm very proud that we achieved it when I think we started from the edge of the abyss.

We do not produce all of our own energy needs, this is a media legend.

"Today 10 percent of production comes from the sun, it was 0 until a few years ago. By 2030 we will reach 30 percent.
Today we are the first in the region for self-production of energy from the sun by families and businesses," he said.
