The vice president of the DP, Enkeled Alibeaj, has shown the "behind the scenes" of the negotiations between the SP and Refoundation, as he stated that the Electoral Reform was sacrificed.
"The first and greatest bitter achievement of this hypocritical and false agreement is the sacrifice of the electoral reform", said Alibeaj, while adding that there is a great cost to the opposition.
He emphasized that the 5-month battle of the opposition MPs in the Parliament was fake, as he called the agreement "hypocritical".
"Now that the fake battle in the Parliament has ended and that normality has returned, I take the initiative and salute it, because a normal Parliament is for the benefit of the citizens, everyone rightfully wants to know what you won in these 5 months of fake battle . Who is the balance? Already from this agreement, what the public knows is that one or two investigative commissions have been obtained, whose public interest seems not to be what the public is looking for, they are not directed directly against Edi Rama.
Secondly, the investigative commissions that continue with a law made by Edi Rama with rules defined by Rama.
Thirdly, the major sacrifice is electoral reform.
The first bitter achievement of this hypocritical and false agreement is the sacrifice of electoral reform. In fact, there is a great cost to the opposition, the opposition has lost its biggest guarantee, the right of veto to impose a restriction on the majority not to pass important laws unilaterally. SP failed the electoral reform and this has a bitter balance for the public", said Enkeled Alibeaj.
