"The EU is a happy hell", Rama answers the question of what Albania

Prime Minister Edi Rama declared in a conference with the President of Ukraine that the support packages are not loans or part of any business .

In his speech, the head of the Albanian government said that our country will do everything to help Ukraine.

According to him, the existential threat is not only for Ukraine, but it is "a threat to everything that we want our future to be".

"First, we have supported Ukraine with support packages that are not loans and are not part of any business. Without a doubt, we have done and will do everything we can. We are aware that for that war front this is a small thing.

This is not an existential threat to Ukraine, but it is a threat to everything we want our future to be.

There have been many sanctions against Russia, but we know that dependence on Russian gas is not that simple. The increase in prices, the increase in the cost of living in the richest countries are part of the plan to make public opinion say "we should not continue to support Ukraine" , said Rama.

The prime minister also focused on the integration of Albania, saying that "the EU is not heaven, but there is no question that it is a joyful hell"

"The account is clear, for us this is the key. We are looking to join the EU, to have cooperation with this region. The Western Balkans is the only reality, unlike Ukraine. We are inside the EU physically, but we are outside politically. So we want to integrate with this body. We don't want to see this organism explode. The EU is not heaven, but there is no disputing that it is a joyous hell. It is not a bloody hell," said the head of the government.
