Prime Minister Edi Rama has opened the summit for Ukraine in Tirana. In the presence of President Volodymyr Zelensky, Rama condemned the war in Ukraine, while saying that Putin has not succeeded in oppressing the Ukrainian people.

The head of the government says that today Ukraine is anchored in the EU more than ever.

This is a war that neither Ukraine nor our community of like-minded nations chose, a catastrophe conceived by the decision of one man, driven by an old dream of an imperial past. He has not succeeded, despite the power of propaganda, Russia has not succeeded in suppressing the will of the Ukrainian people, it has not succeeded in suppressing the truth. Putin wanted to wipe Ukraine off the map in a matter of days, but it is not anchored in Europe today more than ever.
