In the Special Court, a court session is expected to take place today at 09:00 a.m. for former Prime Minister Sali Berisha and his son-in-law Jamrabër Malltezi, both in the investigation of the privatization of the former "Partizani" complex.

Berisha and the son-in-law request the lifting of the house arrest measure, while the court case has been merged into one of the GJKKO.

On March 4, two hearings were postponed, one of Berisha and the other of Malltez. The latter's lawyer was given time to familiarize himself with the information presented by the Special Prosecutor's Office. Meanwhile, on the other hand, Berisha had refused to appear at the GJKKO, but in the summons for the court session he had not stated that he will be represented by defense lawyers, in contrast to Malltezi.

Thus, the two hearings were merged into one, and their request for revocation of the measure of imprisonment will be examined today by judge Irena Gjoka.
