Abazovic invites Kosovo to the "Open Balkans": Next time we become
The Prime Minister of Montenegro, Dritan Abazovic

The Prime Minister of Montenegro, Dritan Abazovic, in his speech at the "Open Balkans" Summit, said that any initiative that promises and leads to progress, will have his support.

He called on the Prime Minister of Kosovo to join this initiative, saying that he hopes to be present at the next meeting.

" I see this as having a good future based on economy, business, cooperation in all fields, for me this is the idea of an Open Balkans. Regardless of the name, any initiative that could lead to progress will have the support of Montenegro.

The idea is to have dialogue, as this leads to not being afraid of each other. Recent policies, of history of disrespect, of emphasizing conflicts, these have kept us where we are now, our task is to do something to change this.

Next time we will be six people, and talk about the needs of the citizens and I am convinced that the message to the EU will be much different.

Those who now challenge this initiative, realize that they are wrong, and that this part of the world belongs to the great European family. To be a member of this family we must also change our mentality.

We need to rebrand the Western Balkans, reach out to each other, that's the only way to achieve that.

"I expect the Prime Minister of Kosovo to come and talk about joint initiatives ," he said
