The Special Envoy of the United States of America for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, present through a video message at today's summit of the Western Balkans, requested that Kosovo become part of this initiative.

Escobar said the US-backed initiative should involve all six states.

" We had a successful dialogue and we will do everything for the stabilization of the region and create new opportunities for the citizens of the Western Balkans. The US does not see BP from a point of view of the problems that occurred in the last century, but from the expectations of the century we are. The Western Balkans has great opportunities, with all the amazing wealth and resources.

We will help you build the Future. The region has the potential to be an energy hub, which will help fight climate change. It has the capacity to be the center of natural gas. The Western Balkans is the fastest growing part of Europe. We will make things easier. The US supports this 'Open Balkans' initiative. We support all economic incentives that bring countries closer together and promote peace and development. " Every initiative for economic integration should include all 6 countries ," he said.
