The Minister of Internal Affairs, Ervin Demo, participated today in the welcoming ceremony of new students at the Security Academy. During his speech, Minister Demo also gave important news, as he promised a significant salary increase for police officers.
"I believe that very soon, starting with the salary policy, and I am saying it here today officially, that we are on the right track in terms of increasing salaries for all State Police personnel. It will be a significant increase. Therefore, the day you take office you will be treated better than your predecessors," Demo highlighted.
According to the minister, this is an important step in building a new standard for the Police Force, combining professional responsibility with the appreciation and support that employees deserve.
"A new standard, I believe, starts with the new generation, and I am convinced that you will be the best example of what we want to project for the future, always following the experience built over years in the State Police, always following the best practices consolidated in the State Police, always following all that has been achieved with great effort and in difficult times, by all those who have been part of the State Police force", the minister underlined.
