Jensila reveals dark secret: I saw my father stab my mother

Xhensila Myrtezaj has recounted a very traumatic experience she experienced when she was little and it concerns her parents.

Although she has spoken about her parents' divorce on other occasions, she had kept a "dark secret" that she confessed for the first time on the show "Good Morning Stars" by Arbana Osmani.

Jensila said that when she was 6 years old, she saw her father stab her mother. The latter lost her arm as a result of the stabbing attack.

The entire scene was witnessed by Jensila, who described it as the most traumatic event of her life.

"It's a difficult period in my life. I know why I love my mother so much and appreciate her, but at the same time, I judge her for not having the opportunity to end that marriage before what my eyes saw happened. My father did not accept the divorce from my mother and if people can research, my mother was the case of that woman who was injured with 7 knives and lost one of her hands and all this was an action that was done in front of my eyes. I saw my mother as she was being killed for this decision and I have always kept this secret very well," she said.

Although this was a very serious event, the singer emphasized that he remains her father, adding that only her mother has chosen to forgive her.

"I don't know why I said it because I don't want to hurt my father because I'm sure he regrets what he did. He was under the influence of alcohol. My mother forgave him. He's my father and nothing in the world changes that," Jensila said.

The singer also revealed that she met her father while he was serving time for injuring her mother. It was the latter who made it possible for her to meet him, although relatives did not agree that Jensila should communicate with him again.
