A strong verbal argument between Jozi and Gjesti immediately after the end of Tuesday's Big Brother Vip Albania show, has degraded with serious insults from Jozi towards Gjesti, telling him "If you don't apologize, you're a bastard of a bastard."
As a result of the insults, "Big Brother" immediately expelled Jozi from the competition.
Top Channel writes that there was communication today with the group of Gjesti managers, who reacted to this case and told how this statement was experienced by his family.
In this communication, Gjesti's management group stated that his family members have been deeply affected by this labeling, adding that they are a family of martyrs and this is an extremely serious and painful insult.
"Tag a citizen of Kosovo with that sentence that doesn't even make us want to speak, is one of the biggest insults you can do. It is denigrating and painful. Not only Gjesti and his family, but we have all been very concerned by that comment which we can confidently say has not only affected Gjesti personally, but also many other citizens of Kosovo. He grew up with strong family and national values, with respect and pride for the history of Kosovo," the statement for Top Channel reads.
After that statement from Jozi, Gjesti mentioned his father several times, saying "I don't want to hear it, he'll be upset, he fought and lost his brother in the war." But how did the singer's father react to this whole situation?
"His father is a war veteran and Gjesti knows very well what we have been through as a people. His uncle gave his life for this land and is still missing today, not even his grave is known. And now to hear his son insulted with such a harsh expression that denies the identity and history of the family, is unacceptable and painful, not only for us, but for every family that has sacrificed for freedom," they emphasized.
How did they receive the decision to expel Jozi?
"Glad the production took immediate action!" he said.
Asked if Gjesti's family had a message for Jozi, they stated: I must say that we are touched and do not forgive these words. We ask for respect. Everyone can have debates and disagreements within a game, but no one has the right to insult someone in such a serious way and touch wounds that have not yet healed. We hope that as a society we learn to respect each other, because the blood that has been shed on this nation does not distinguish between us.
