Rarely, the comedian Albano Bogdo has spoken beyond his life as an artist, where he tells in detail the difficulties he went through from an early age when his parents divorced.

He says he was 13 years old when his mother and father separated and the weight of the family fell on him. Although he didn't realize it at first, the actor says that when he turned 18, he began to understand that his passion for acting had died out, as he had to work as a waiter and bartender to support his family.

Bogdo says that he felt the absence of his father before the divorce, as the actor says, he was never satisfied with his son.

"I have not experienced my parents' divorce badly. When you are 13 years old and your parents are separated and you don't have a father, you are in the most beautiful period of your life, you are a teenager doing whatever you want and you don't have a man to yell at you at home, you do whatever you want. You start smoking, you come back when you want. When you turn 18 and they expect you to work hard, that's when you realize that the hustle is over and we need to lay our backs. This was the period when I surrendered and said this is my life, I will start working as a bartender, waiter.

I have felt the absence of my father since my father was at home, before they divorced. He had chosen to be as harsh as possible with me so that I would become a man. With my sister and brother, Dad behaved 'badly', he told me that nothing is enough. In 1999, an acting competition was held at VATSH. I came second in the republic, I was 12 years old, I lost by half a point. We sat down and saw what had happened. The crying mother. My father saw my entire performance and when it was over he said: What is this, everyone does this!. So I missed him since he was there, when he left I didn't miss him", he said in the show "S'e luan Topi".

But the actor says that now everything has changed, he has a very good relationship with his father, he even communicates with him often and says that he is proud of his father. While for the mother, words do not count as it is the actions that show everything. Albano says that his mother worked three jobs as a cleaner to support him with bread and clothes while he was studying.

"Today I have excellent reports. He had his 65th birthday on Friday, I spoke with him for three hours, we enjoyed ourselves. I have fixed relationships because I have realized that it is idiotic not to talk. I haven't spoken for 22-23 years with my father, I had no contact.

I'm proud of the father I have, but I mean I'm 400 times more proud of my mother and I love my mother 400 times, but that doesn't mean I'm not proud of my father and I don't love my father. Mama is the most beautiful woman in Albania, the most honest woman, she made an extraordinary sacrifice. She worked three cleaning jobs to support me with bread and clothes at the Academy of Arts. I will not forget it until I die", said Albano Bogdo, among other things.
