NASA's Mars probe, the Insight Lander, will soon complete its 4-year mission.

The ship has accumulated a large amount of dust on the solar panels that has made it difficult to produce energy, making it almost impossible to continue further research.

Scientists will use the lander as much as they can before it runs out of fuel. Unfortunately, he only has a few weeks left.

"The day is coming when I will be silent, ending 4 Earth years (more than 2 on Mars) of studying the red planet. As my time on Mars comes to an end, the team is helping scientists make the most of everything I've accumulated," the space agency's official website reads.

Since the spacecraft landed on the planet's surface in November 2018, it has shed light on the inner layers of Mars, including the liquid core, crustal materials and earthquakes. Recently, the Lander discovered a giant crater caused by a meteoroid impact.
