31-year-old Evhenia Emerald is on the front line of the war, where she serves as a sniper. However, she has found the opportunity, without leaving her duties in the war, to marry in a modest ceremony in a forest in Kharkiv to Evheniy Stypaniuk.

"Today I officially became the wife of a soldier", writes the 31-year-old on social networks, where she also published some photos from the modest ceremony.

They met only shortly after the war started and in August they got engaged, while they already thought that the moment had come to take their relationship to another stage. Evhenia Emerald, who worked in a jeweler's shop before the start of the war, said: "For us, every day could be our last and so we don't want to postpone anything for later."
