Singer Besart Kelmendi, known as Gjesti, who is currently in custody, stated before the court that he committed the alleged acts in an emotional state and apologized for the incident.

Regarding this, psychologist Atifete Syla said that Gjesti may have experienced a severe emotional state.

She emphasized on the "Weekend" show that this could be related to the tragedy that happened to her brother and the six-month isolation from television shows.

"He may be suffering from post-traumatic stress due to his brother's tragedy, his emotional state is very severe, but this does not justify his behavior at all," Syla said.
