The mystery of Matthew Perry, why the last posts of the actor on social networks

Many have noticed that Matthew Perry's last seven Instagram posts have been about Batman. But why?

Matthew Perry, otherwise known as "Chandler Bing" from "Friends", has passed away at the age of 54.

The actor was found dead on Saturday at his home in Los Angeles. According to authorities, an ambulance arrived at his home at 4:07 p.m. after receiving a call.

Los Angeles Police Department officers at his Pacific Palisades home searched for narcotics, but so far nothing has been found.

The possibility that this is a criminal offense cannot exist, since no traces have been found. The most likely scenario according to reports is that the actor suffered a heart attack and drowned in his pool. Police will continue to investigate the star's death, pending an autopsy by the Los Angeles Medical Examiner.

However, surprisingly, before his death, Perry made a number of posts on social media, all related to Batman.

Perry's first Batman-related Instagram post was made a week ago and is a video that shows the camera panning around a dark room, showing three screens featuring Batman. At the end of the video, the camera zooms in on a corner of the ceiling and suddenly the Batman sign appears lit up in red.

The caption reads: "Batman is one of the most important people ever seen."

Batman's next post shows the iconic badge flashing, along with the comment: "Sleep well everyone, I've got the city on my guard tonight."

The third post shows a light on the wall, which also looks like a keyboard, and reads: "Batman plays Pickleball," while the famous actor captioned the image: "WTF? Relax, I'm in a tall building.'

The fourth is a video showing a hand placing some grapes on a table, with the caption: “This is what I had to eat today. I am Batman.'

And the fifth post shows Batman's badge carved into a glowing pumpkin. "Do you understand what I mean?" Perry wrote.

Ultimately, there's no reason to speculate, because unfortunately we'll never know the real reason why Perry decided to release the seven Batman-related images.

In his memoir Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing, Perry recalls imagining himself as Batman and his father as Superman.
