The famous Albanian singer has left music behind and joined the list of MPs for the upcoming parliamentary elections in Kosovo.

Singer Edona Llalloshi is on the list as a candidate for deputy from the VV ranks in the February 9 elections, with number 19.

The news of her joining the Vetëvendosje Movement was made official by the leader of this party, who is also the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti.

"Edona Llalloshi is among the most beloved names on our music scene. In her three-decade career, in addition to her quality creations, she has stood out for her unique personality.

"She is part of our list for the great victory. With Edona, we will be even more dedicated to art and culture. Welcome, Edona," Albin Kurti wrote on Facebook.

Edona has a long and very successful career in music, while until now she had not announced that she had any political ambitions.
