The boy with the most special birthday in the world turns 11 today. He is Daniel Saunders, born at 11:11 on November 11, 2011.

The boy from Bishop's Stortford, England has been closely associated with the number 11 since the day he was born. On his birthday, Saunders will receive 11 gifts.

"I've been looking forward to this birthday! It's more exciting than any birthday I've ever been," said Saunders.

His mother Charlotte says 11 has been her lucky number since primary school, which made his birth even more extraordinary. Doctors had said Daniel would be born on November 17, 2011. But a week ago Charlotte, now 41, was told her son was in a difficult position. Doctors tried to move him but couldn't, so they did a C-section on November 11.
