A woman has been arrested after walking onto the runway at Canberra Airport in Australia to stop a flight from taking off without her.
The incident that happened on Wednesday afternoon was recorded by a passerby's camera at the airport.
The woman managed to get through airport security and run onto the runway. She even ducked under the plane, signaling the pilot to let her board the QantasLink flight to Adelaide.
The pilot was either alerted by airport authorities or noticed and shut down the engines which could have killed him.
Eyewitnesses told local media they were surprised no one stopped the woman. They add that he "she tried to shout at the pilot, to get his attention".
Flights were delayed for about 10 minutes.
After the incident, the woman was arrested by the Australian Federal Police.
