The well-known rapper, Stresi, reacted after the death of his friend, 32-year-old Lear Kurti, at the hands of the police at midnight on Wednesday.
Arkimed Lushaj said that the State Police " has taken the hand of the young boys", as he warned that "the day will come when we will not endure anymore and this is the worst end of them that Albanians have ever seen". The rapper said that Ardi Veliu should not wear the police uniform, adding that "who else is to blame for this".
As he remembered the moments when he went out to protests with the 32-year-old, Stresi considered his separation from life an injustice, addressing him "what happened to you is unacceptable. You were against injustice and you ran away from injustice. Goodbye, goodbye brothers up there.”
"My condolences to the family. We knew each other for 15 years. I started my music career with you in the park and I had to tell you two little things my brother. I thank you for those moments we spent together, you were a faithful friend and very much a servant of God. Injustice will exist for a long time in Albania, infidelity, slavery and many other things... God tests us in every way, but the pains are many. Police officers are not all the same, there are good ones, but what happened to you is unacceptable because the young guys have taken a hand with us.

But a day will come when we will not endure and it will be the worst end of them that the Albanians have ever seen. As for Ardi Veliu being in the police, I have been saying it for years and I say that that man should not wear a blue uniform, but who else is to blame! We both went to protests once, I remember it very well and you were against injustice and today you left this life because of injustice. May you be with God up there, goodbye, goodbye to the brothers up there," writes Stresi .
