Luna Methasani: The news spread against my will, without my desire. I had asked my father to stay private, but I feel that I hurt him a lot when I asked him this because for ordinary Albanians, including our family, with state salaries it is very difficult to afford the expenses in many figures, with many zeros behind. Medical treatments are unfortunately very expensive for this type of disease, so apart from the great pain he had for a sick child, my father needed to find the strength and economic opportunity to meet these expenses and if he did not go public, made this even more difficult. Of course, the many friends and the good name he left everywhere helped him. Many family members, relatives, uncles and aunts helped and were by our side in these difficult moments, but the news spread. I was very touched when I was in the hospital and read comments like "well, this is a journalist's daughter, but who will think about the daughters of a common man?"

Ardit Gjebrea: There are always these comments.

Luna Methasani: Of course, but I told my dad for a reason that we stay in our privacy Ardit because unfortunately there are many cases. A lot of people who are suffering, kids even younger than me, people with financial problems, maybe even on welfare and can't afford such treatments, so the money that should probably go to me via a GoFund With a public appeal, an application that could be made to the ministry for state funds, I thought that maybe they could go to a case that suffers even more or is smaller than me. That's why I want to invite him today to apologize for maybe burdening him a bit this year, but also to thank him publicly. Daughter and father are inseparable friends, it is the first friend, the first love and it will always remain so.
