Yesterday, Gjesti climbed over the perimeter wall of the Big Brother house, remaining between the first and second perimeter walls of the house.

He then returned home but was faced with a black envelope, the contents of which Big Brother will reveal during Saturday's show.

But this event has its precedents in the world. Only in Big Brother England have there been several similar episodes.   

In 2016, Emma Jensen, a Big Brother housemate, was evicted from the reality show after repeatedly attempting to "bag" the perimeter wall. She stated at the time that she could not live inside the Big Brother house and obey the rules.

Jack Dee (Big Brother VIP 1, 2001)

In Big Brother Vip 1 comedian Jack Dee tried to leave the house with a rake, while being chased by a group of other housemates. Did he return? He was later found by security staff and returned home. After some time he was declared the winner of Big Brother Vip 1.  

Sandy Cumming (2002)

One of the first people to ever attempt to climb the wall, he only stayed in the house for 20 days before escaping from the roof of the house while others were watching a football match inside.

Did he come back? No!

Donny Tourette (2007)

Towers Of London singer Donny only stayed at home for three days before his escape attempt. 

Did he return? Of course not, Big Brother claimed that he had broken the rules by establishing contact with the outside world.

Leo Sayer (2007)

He could have lasted longer than Donny Tourette, but singer Leo Sayer decided to escape after Big Brother refused to give him clean clothes.

Did he come back? No.

All the housemates in the group (Big Brother 10, 2009)

All of the Big Brother residents made some kind of escape attempt, although it only served to get a punishment and not because any of them wanted to leave.

Did they return? Within about two minutes of Big Brother's call.

Kenneth Tong (Big Brother 10, 2009)

Kenneth climbed the garden wall with a little help from his housemate Marcus, and began walking along it to freedom.

Did he return? "He disappeared"

Brian Belo (Big Brother 16, 2015)

Brian Belo climbed the wall after a very hard collision with one of the residents. Did he turn around? Actually, no.

Helen Wood, Winston Showan and Ash Harrison (2014)

This trio tried to leave through the emergency exit in the bedroom of the house, after 65 days of staying.  

Did they return? They were immediately returned to their big brother and were immediately punished by being put on basic food rations and being deprived of hot water.

Jayne Connery (2016)

Jayne Connery made an attempt to gain freedom after a heated argument with housemate Natalie Rowe.

Did she come back? Yes, after a conversation with her older brother and after admitting that she was wrong.
