Although she has been quite reserved about the romance of love with her foreign partner, Iva has previously expressed:

"My parents don't know we're getting married. I believe there's a plan, no one has given me a ring yet, but that doesn't stop me from making plans and finding bridal gowns. I have now started to seriously try them as much as I can get stuck and for a while without a concrete plan, because no one gave me a ring and no one proposed.
