Kim Kardashian has caused controversy with the latest marketing for her clothing brand, SKIMS.

In the middle of Times Square, New York, a giant 60-foot-tall doll , shaped like Kim in a blue bikini, was placed.

The installation was created to promote the newest swimwear collection from SKIMS, but public reactions have not been positive at all.

After images of the doll were published online, many fans criticized the idea as strange and excessive.

"It looks like she feels uncomfortable there too," one user wrote.

Others called the balloon "creepy" and "inappropriate for a public space."

Kim herself shared a photo of the installation on Instagram, writing: " OMG… I can't believe there's a 60-meter balloon with me at SKIMS Swim in the middle of Times Square ."

This promotion comes just before the launch of the new swimwear collection on March 6. Kim has also posted several provocative photos on Instagram, where she appears in a white bikini and another in a leopard suit.
