Moderator Turjan Hysko and his wife Orinda Huta recently shared a very personal story of theirs, as they recounted how the singer suffered a miscarriage during her first pregnancy.
The couple says that everything happened in the 11th week of pregnancy, when Orinda wrote Turi the shocking message: "The baby's heart is no longer beating."
The moderator confessed that that day was one of the hardest of his life, as he stated that he had not previously faced any other losses in his life, except when his father passed away:
"The only loss in my life was my father, and beyond the ignorance and lack of knowledge of a man, that's where I realized the helplessness that 'you have nothing in your hand'. For the first time, I didn't know what to say to you," he told Orinda on her podcast "Mam".
Among other things, he confessed that Orinda, despite the pain, proved to be strong and calm, telling him a few days after the event: "No Turjan, this is normal, it's a normal process."
However, after losing the baby, Turi did not hesitate to say that he felt disappointed by those close to him, as only after telling the story did he learn that many couples had gone through the same experience, which according to him he did not know was a normal process.
"This was really the moment where I got upset with the people close to us, especially my friends, after I told this story, I suddenly found out that many couples had abortions. I said why don't these people talk, it was a very ugly, very painful feeling," he said.
According to him, this period places an invisible weight on the couple, but for both of them he explains that it did not happen, adding that they never gave up on each other for a moment.
"When you love your family and when you understand that you want an heir and no matter who is to blame, in a couple there is an invisible curtain that you have to have a lot of character strength, you have to have a lot of love, it has to be very strong to resist and thank God we made it and didn't give up," said the moderator.
However, amidst all those 3-year vicissitudes, the couple revealed that they decided to try the IVF (In-Vitro Fertilization) method, which proved successful for them and made it possible for their daughter, Atara, to be born.
