Emma Dakoli is the 9-year-old of Albanian origin who won the Zecchino D'Oro Festival. In this 68th edition, she managed to grab the first prize with the song "Ci pensa il vento" with lyrics by Francesco Marruncheddu, Lodovico Saccol and music by the latter.
Emma took to the stage of the Antoniano di Bologna accompanied by the Piccolo Coro dell'Antoniano led by Margherita Gamberini. Her song speaks of hope and peace.
The 9-year-old's parents are from Durrës, while she grew up in Monza. The little girl has dreams for the future, all related to art as she wants to become a singer, painter and stylist.
The festival featured 14 songs. The first two semi-final nights, on 28-29 November, were hosted by Carolina Benvenga and Lorenzo Baglioni. The final night on 30 November was entrusted to Carlo Conti, who also holds the position of artistic director for the ninth consecutive year.
After "Ci pensa il vento", came "Tu puoi essere" by 10-year-old Lara and "Boomer boom boom", sung by 9-year-old Ana Estela and Nerviano e Gioele, 5 years old.
