A friend of Lionel Messi has appeared on social networks to deny rumors that he slept with 23 women, claiming to be the famous footballer.

The accusations published in the "Marca" newspaper say that Reza Parastesh, a young man from Iran, used his great resemblance to the Argentinian star by getting dozens of women into bed a few years ago.

But in a message published on social networks, he denied the rumours.

“Hello friends, a fake news about me is trending on social media about me sleeping with 23 women because they thought I was Lionel Messi. Please don't play with people's reputation and credibility.

We are all aware that if it happened to someone, there would be some complaints and it would lead to my prosecution. This would be a disaster and a disaster of international proportions. If this news were true, I would be in prison now", he declared.

Parastesh has a full 700 thousand followers on social networks, and often posts pictures with different citizens, showing them as Messi.
