The drone that crashed in South Mitrovica was neither Serbian nor Russian nor Ukrainian. According to media in Pristina, the flying vehicle with a wingspan of about 3 m belongs to the international peacekeeping mission, KFOR.
The newspaper Nacionale.com, citing sources from the KFOR mission, says it has confirmed that the tool belongs to NATO. It has a range of action from the command unit no greater than 10 kilometres, meaning it was unsafe near the site crashed.
But the causes of radiation still remain unclear, whether it was a technical defect, or it had been hit by another object.
