The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, has stated that Pristina is the one that wants to attack the north of the country and liquidate the Serbs.

"Kosovo is using the situation in Ukraine to campaign against Serbia", says Vucic and that "it is a lie that Serbia wants to attack anyone"

"Kosovo is preparing the liquidation of our people under the guise of fighting crime, so I warn them not to do it," reports Tanjug.

Commenting on the statement of the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, that Belgrade is following an aggressive policy with accusations that Belgrade can cause conflict, Vucic says that "this is somewhat funny, because we have been hearing similar lies for 170 days".

He emphasized that "thousands and thousands" of lies have been published in the world media about how Serbia attacks someone, somewhere.

This reaction of the Serbian head of state came after the statement of the Kosovar Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, made in an interview for the Italian newspaper "La Republicca" that there is a high risk of a new conflict between Kosovo and Serbia.

The Serbian president also said he would be happy if an agreement was reached in Brussels, although he was skeptical.
