As conflict and bombings continue in Iran, the Iranian regime has intensified its repression of dissidents.
Saleh Mohammadi, a 19-year-old wrestling champion from Qom who was arrested during the January protests along with two others, has reportedly been executed.
The human rights group reports that Mohammadi is suspected of being tortured before execution.
"It's not just an execution; it's an open political assassination, part of the Islamic Republic's plan to target athletes and terrorize society," Nima Far, a human rights activist and Iranian athlete, told Fox News.
Mohammadi's execution marks the continuation of a harsh crackdown on protests and opposition in the country, adding to international tensions and human rights concerns.
