Trump attacks Zelensky again: He doesn't want peace! We won't tolerate

US President Donald Trump has again attacked Volodymyr Zelensky, after the Ukrainian president said the end of his country's war with Russia is "still a long, long way off."

Writing in Truth Social, Trump accused the Ukrainian leader of not being interested in negotiating a peace deal.

"This is the worst statement that could have been made by Zelenskyy and America will not tolerate it for long! That's what I was saying, this guy does not want peace as long as he has America's support and, Europe, in the meeting they had with Zelenskyy, stated emphatically that they cannot do the job without the US - It's probably not a great statement to have been made in terms of a show of force against Russia. What are they thinking?", Trump declared.

The US president's statement comes days after a heated exchange in the Oval Office with Zelensky that shocked America's allies and raised fears that Washington was ready to side with Russia.

It is also worth noting that in his post on “Social Truth,” Trump cited the Associated Press’s reporting on Zelensky’s comments, an ironic choice because he banned the internationally renowned media outlet from being present in the Oval Office.
