"The battle has begun." This is the first reaction of Iran's Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei.

After Donald Trump said he had no intention of assassinating the Iranian leader "for the time being," Khamenei wrote on the social network "X": "With the help of Allah, the Islamic Republic will triumph over the Zionist regime. The battle has begun."

Meanwhile, Iran's Revolutionary Guard has declared that Iranian armed forces are in full control of Israeli airspace.

"The missile attack showed that we have taken control of the skies of the occupied territories (Israel) and that the inhabitants of these territories are completely defenseless against Iranian missile attacks," the Iranian Revolutionary Guards declared.
