Russia warns US over weapons in Ukraine: End it!
Biden and Putin

Russia has warned the United States not to send more weapons to Ukraine.

Moscow's ambassador to Washington, Anatoly Antonov, told Russian state television Rossiya 24 that "this situation is unacceptable and we demand an end to this practice."

He added that a diplomatic letter had been sent to Washington outlining Russia's concerns, noting that arms supplies from the United States would worsen the situation and increase the intensity of the conflict in Ukraine.

The Washington Post had access to this diplomatic letter, in which Russia warns that there will be "unpredictable consequences" for America if it continues to supply Ukraine with "sensitive" weapons.

It says the Russian government "calls on the United States and its allies to stop the irresponsible militarization of Ukraine, which has unpredictable consequences for regional and international security."

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and pledged $ 713 million in new military aid. Zelensky, on the other hand, called on American and European leaders to supply Kiev with heavier weapons and equipment.

"The first step to winning is to believe that you can win, and we believe that Ukraine can win if it gets the support it needs. "Ukraine's position is that they want to win, our position is that we want to help," Austin told a news conference near the Polish-Ukrainian border.
