A 56-year-old Albanian man has been sentenced to prison after he was accused of raping a 22-year-old Greek woman on Halkidiki beach.

Speaking to MEGA TV, the girl described the shocking moments she experienced:

"I was lying on my back to sunbathe. When at one point I turned my face, I felt that someone attacked me. He grabbed me by the head and hit me. Then I do not remember anything. I could not save them from my hands. "I hope no other woman is ever in my country."

The 22-year-old has identified the 56-year-old Albanian who has already been sentenced to prison. Meanwhile, the girl's lawyer stated that the rapist is also serving a prison sentence for murder.

For his part, the Albanian has denied the allegations and has agreed to undergo a DNA test.
