Rarely, at the age of 78 does he get a high school diploma
Ted Sams

For 60 years, Ted Sams had regretted losing his high school diploma. Now 78, Sams can finally call himself a graduate after putting on his hat, cape and graduation on Friday with the 2022 class at San Gabriel High School in Southern California.

In 1962, Sams got into trouble and was suspended five days before the end of the school year. He said he missed a final exam and had to make up for it over the summer.

" When I came back, they did not give me the diploma because I owed him $ 4,800 for a book, and so I just walked away and said, 'Forget it!' ”.
