Recent reports show the dramatic consequences of US-Israeli airstrikes on Iranian cities, where many citizens are paying a high price.

For more than three weeks, Tehran and other cities have been bombed, hitting thousands of targets – including civilian buildings and educational institutions.

The BBC has shared in an article the names of some of the victims who lost their lives as a result of the bombings in Iran.

Parastesh Dahaghin, a young pharmacist, lost her life in Tehran when a building near her pharmacy was hit during the attacks.

Her brother, Poorya , wrote that she was just doing her job to help the injured people.

Berivan Molani , a 26-year-old blogger, was killed during the attack on the wealthy Zafaraniyeh area, where her family lived.

She had returned to Tehran from northern Iran just the day before. Videos released by the Iranian Red Cross show efforts to rescue her mother trapped under the rubble.

Eilmah Bilki , a 3-year-old girl from Sardasht, lost her life a day after being injured in airstrikes.

HRANA reports over 1,400 civilian casualties.

One of the deadliest attacks was on a primary school in Minab, where 48 children and 10 adults were killed.

Numerous reports indicate attacks on hospitals and health workers; at least 9 health workers have lost their lives.

Airports and large cities like Tehran do not have sufficient civilian shelters.

Many Iranians have been arrested for using the internet, while Iranian border guards have orders to block the use of Iraqi networks near the border, controlling information and movement.

Health workers are extremely tired, trying to save the lives of the injured in extreme conditions.

The WHO has verified over 20 attacks on health facilities and stresses that any inappropriate damage is a violation of international law./ BBC
