The story of 83-year-old grandmother Iris Jones and her now 37-year-old ex-husband, Mohamed Ibrahim , had made the rounds of social networks because their relationship had caused great surprise to readers around the world that you can't get over how to make the relationship work, given the big age difference.
Furthermore, Iris had said that she had spent thousands of pounds to pay off all the debts of her ex-partner, whom she described on social networks as a " narcissist ". But recently the elderly woman wanted to tell her followers the whole story with a post on Facebook .
The story of Iris Jones
After the separation from her husband Mohamed Ibrahim, Iris Jones has decided to tell everything to those who have always followed the story. On her Facebook profile she wrote:
"I want to tell you the whole truth about the relationship between me and Mohamed, from the day he sent me the first message until today. On June 25, 2019, I received a message from Mohamed and we became friends on Messenger.
He seemed like a good guy and was going through a tough time in his life because he was breaking up. He felt that I was the person who could understand what he was saying and that, for that, he liked to trust me.
I fell in love immediately and after many messages, on July 10, 2019 he proposed to me! But love peaked in November 2019 when I flew to Cairo and met him.
I had brought several thousand pounds with me because he had told me that he had a lot of debt due to the divorce.
I paid for everything. We had a great time in Egypt and stayed there for a month, we tried to get married but we didn't have the right papers.
The second time I went I got £15,000 and gave it to him. The third time I went to Egypt, we finally got married. I had £40,000 in my bank account and handed my credit card over to Mohamed where every day he withdrew a thousand pounds every morning. But I was already tired of this."

Iris Jones then wrote that she was really tired because her husband kept asking her for money.
Then, Irsi wrote: " On June 13 of this year, after another fight, I told him that we had to close the story. It was one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make because my love for Mohamed was real, but there was no point in pretending things would get better. It was the right decision to make ."
