"There is no justification for the bombing of hundreds and thousands of civilians in Gaza." This is what Russian President Vladimir Putin said today.

The Russian leader also added that the situation in the Middle East is being used "by puppets of geopolitics" for selfish purposes.

"Those behind the conflict in the Middle East and other regional crises will use their devastating consequences to sow hatred. This is the main purpose of these geopolitical puppets".

Meanwhile, on the other hand, American President Joe Biden called on Israel to protect civilians in Gaza.

"President Biden has made it very clear to Israel that we expect them to act in accordance with international law," said US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller in a press conference.
