"We have orders for your detention" Kurti's adviser not allowed
Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and his adviser, Ardita Sinani

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti's adviser to Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanoc, Ardita Sinani, has denounced an incident with Serbian police on the border.

She writes her concern on social media where she says she was detained for an hour by Serbian border police.

Kosovo's prime minister's adviser says the ban by Serbian police was argued as an order they had received from the base and without their approval could not pass.

Sinan's reaction:

Today, at around 10:00 at the border crossing with the Republic of Kosovo, in Muçibaba, I was detained by Serbian border police for over an hour.

The only reason given to me by Serbian border police officers is "We have orders for your detention and we cannot allow you to cross the border without getting the consent of the base".

No additional clarification as to why, or what the basis is, that one should be questioned and granted permission to cross the border.

This may be the cost of being a Political Adviser to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, but it certainly will not be the means by which the voice will be silenced for the rights of Albanians of the Presevo Valley.

This case will of course be just an even bigger push to speak out louder about Serbian state discrimination against Albanians.

The police ban on the border is just one of them, which is also an old political method of suppressing the political fathers of the current leaders of Serbia.
