JPMorgan responds: Sexual harassment allegations against Lorna Hajdini are

American banking giant JPMorgan Chase has officially denied the lawsuit filed against senior executive Lorna Hajdini, stating that the allegations of sexual harassment and racial abuse are unfounded and fabricated.

The lawsuit was filed by a former employee identified as Chirayu Rana, who initially used the pseudonym "John Doe," alleging that Hajdini had sexually harassed, used racial slurs, and even involved substance abuse against staff.

After the lawsuit was filed, JPMorgan launched an internal investigation to verify the allegations. According to the company, electronic communications, including emails and employee phone records, were reviewed, but no evidence was found to support Rana's claims.

In a public statement following the investigation, the bank said it sees "no real basis" in the allegations made.

According to the company, while some employees cooperated with the investigation, the plaintiff himself refused to participate and did not present key elements that would support his version.

Media reports in the US also claim that Rana was not directly under Hajdini's supervision, contrary to what was stated in the lawsuit, but simply a colleague on the same financial team.

Hajdini's lawyers have strongly disputed the allegations, stating that their client has never been to the location where the sexual assault allegedly occurred.

Meanwhile, the court documents have been withdrawn for procedural corrections, while JPMorgan is considering the possibility of seeking damages for reputational damage, arguing that the case has caused consequences for the company's image and interests.

The case remains under review and is expected to return to court after the legal documentation is reformulated.
