Former NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has become Norway's new Finance Minister, as part of a government reshuffle.
He takes up this post at a time when his country is facing the impact of a potential transatlantic trade war.

The appointment of Stoltenberg, who is highly popular and respected, could give the Labour government a boost in the polls ahead of September's parliamentary elections.
Stoltenberg, a veteran Labour Party politician, served as prime minister of Norway from 2000-2001 and 2005-2013.
He has been at the head of the Western military alliance for a decade and left the post last year.
His appointment brings an experienced negotiator and diplomat to the Norwegian cabinet at a time of global trade tensions.
