Iran has built a long-range suicide drone designed to hit Israeli cities.
The commander of Iran's ground forces, Brigadier General Kioomars Heidari, said in a message on state television that the drone called "Arash 2" has special capabilities built specifically to hit Haifa and Tel Aviv.
General Heidari said: "Today we have drones that can hit targets up to 2,000 kilometers away. Of course, we also have drones for smaller distances."
After the drone was unveiled, Mossad director David Barnea reacted by warning the leaders of the Islamic Republic to avoid using force against his country.
"Iran's top leaders must know that engaging, directly or through third parties, in acts of violence against Israel will result in a painful response to those responsible on Iranian soil," Barnea said on Monday. in a speech at "Reichman" University, near Tel Aviv.
Even the Israeli Prime Minister, Yair Lapid, warned Iran not to test his country. "If Iran continues to provoke us, then we will take out our weapons for long distances," Lapid said as he stood next to an F-35 bomber.
After the withdrawal of the United States from the nuclear deal with Iran, the country has openly expressed its intention to become a nuclear power, although it says that only for energy purposes. In the agreement originally reached in 2015, Iran was promised the lifting of sanctions in exchange for the suspension of its nuclear program.
