Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has reacted to the US and Israeli attacks on Iran, calling them wrong. At the same time, he has criticized the Iranian response, which he considers lopsided, by hitting other Gulf countries.
The Turkish president said that the US and Israeli attacks on Iran violated Iran's sovereignty and targeted the peace of the Iranian people, adding that he was sad and concerned.
“Regardless of the reason, we consider Iran's missile and drone attacks on our brotherly countries in the Persian Gulf unacceptable,” Recep Tayyip Erdoğan also stressed. If common sense does not prevail and diplomacy is not given a chance, “our region faces the risk of being drawn into a ring of fire,” Erdoğan warned.
"To prevent further bloodshed and spare our region from greater suffering, all actors, especially the Islamic world, must take urgent action," Erdoğan said.
He called for urgent action to prevent further bloodshed, adding that Ankara would accelerate diplomatic efforts to secure a ceasefire and revive negotiations.
